Welcome, and thank you for visiting my legislative website. It’s truly an honor to serve you in Olympia. Here, you can learn more about me, my priorities, and what I’m working to accomplish as your state representative. If you want to stay connected, please sign up for my email updates.
One of my main goals in the Legislature is to rein in unsustainable state spending and allow you to keep more of your hard-earned money. You should be in control of the most important decisions in your life – decisions over your health, where and how you work, and your children’s education.
I continue fighting for new transportation corridors over the Columbia River. We must relieve traffic congestion and improve freight mobility instead of supporting the resurrection of the failed Columbia River Crossing boondoggle.
I am also fighting for comprehensive tax relief instead of supporting a new state income tax in Washington. Let’s make housing more affordable, prevent a statewide income tax, and build a world-class education system.
Public safety is also a big issue. People feel less safe than ever. The “defund the police” effort has had horrible consequences in our communities. We must allow our law enforcement to do their job. We must give them the tools, the training, and the manpower to protect our communities.
Lastly, I’m working to foster a better business climate for job creators to get our state working again. We need tax cuts, not tax increases!
Please contact me with your ideas, concerns, and questions. It’s my honor to serve, and I would love to hear from you! Thank you for the opportunity to represent you in Olympia.

The majority party in Olympia has doubled state spending in just 10 years. During that time, they've raised nearly $80 billion in taxes. Our citizens are already struggling with high inflation, increases in fuel, food, and energy prices, and ever-increasing housing costs. This level of spending is unsustainable as more and more tax burdens fall on those who can least afford it. The state's continuing record tax collections should result in tax relief, not more state programs and bureaucracy.
Learn more about our state’s spending and tax increasesI’m fighting for new bridge corridors to relieve traffic congestion and improve traffic flow, instead of supporting the bloated I-5 Interstate Bridge Replacement Program. Instead of increasing taxes, I’m working to stretch scarce transportation dollars to benefit everyone. I will continue fighting for greater transparency, accountability, and a more cost-effective plan that puts you first and prioritizes congestion relief – your top priority!
Learn more about my efforts to get the I-5 Bridge replacement project done rightThe majority party in the Legislature has made life more expensive for everyone in Washington through new taxes, fees, regulations, and a failure to provide meaningful tax relief. While many Washingtonians endure inflation and high gas prices, state tax collections have remained strong. Despite record revenue, state government continues to overspend, save little, and give almost nothing back to the taxpayers. In contrast, House Republicans continue to offer real solutions to provide significant tax relief, lower the cost of living, and improve affordability.
Learn more about House Republicans affordability solutionsCrime is out of control in many places in our state. Criminals feel emboldened, while many people do not feel safe in their communities. Public safety should be a top priority of government. Unfortunately, in the past several legislative sessions, the majority party has passed legislation to make life easier for criminals and more burdensome for law enforcement who are trying to keep our communities safe. Republicans continue to make public safety a top priority.
